Explained to patient dental bonding is the process of using a resin material matching the natural color of your teeth to restore your smile. Like the name suggests, the resin is applied to your tooth and dried into place using a special ultraviolet light, bonding the cosmetic material with your natural enamel.

Dental bonding can be used to improve teeth that are stained, chipped, cracked, misshapen or separated by unattractive minor gaps. Some of the benefits include:

  • Little to no removal of enamel, retaining the health and natural structure of your tooth.
  • Less extensive procedure than restorations like porcelain veneers or dental crowns.

Local anesthetic placed Articaine, teeth 11, 21 prepared for composite bonding using diamond burs. Composite material : Venus shade B1, filling placed and polished with sof-lex discs. Patient is shown and is very pleased with the outcome
