SmartXide works by removing parts of the top layer of your complexion so we at Tracey Bell can uncover the smoother, fresher skin beneath. After about 30 days, your skin starts to reshape and grow new layers which will continue to improve for 6-12 months after the procedure. Usually at Tracey Bell we find, for skin rejuvenation, that only one treatment is necessary.

The skin treatment encourages the softening of deep lines and fine wrinkles until they disappear. Your skin is left smoother, fresher and more youthful.

We also recommend you complete a skin care regime in the preceding weeks before the procedure in order to maximise your skin's health before the treatment and therefore maximise the benefical effects of the SmartXide. Our SkinScription range at Tracey Bell has been developed to help re-condition your skin to prepare it for your SmartXide treatment.

Excessive sun damage can cause the skin to become so poor in condition that even anti-wrinkle injections will not be enough to improve the appearance around the eyes. Sometimes, the skin is too thin and wrinkles with the very slightest of muscle contraction. Our aim at Tracey Bell is to improve the texture, tone, tenacity and the general quality of your skin so that the skin is encouraged to be firmer and far less likely to crease.

SmartXide uses the very latest laser technology to resurface the skin around the eyes or hands with the only downside being a few days of redness. The results will continue to appear within the first week of treatment, and thereafter for 18 months. Only one treatment is usually required. For an effective treatment we recommend having the procedure under a light anaesthesia to ensure your experience is pain free and we would recommend a week recovery time in order for your skin to recover.
